SNAP, CRACKLE, POP... BUZZZ
Part three

Gazelle’s office
Dicez and Gazelle were almost finished with the basic equipment orders. Dicez took her cell phone and punched Cokie’s number. One ring, two ring, three ring. "That’s odd. Cokie is not answering" said a puzzled Dicez. "Try again maybe there is some interference" replied Gazelle out loud but she thought "Interference? Right! More like Sov trouble." Dialing again Dicez waited. Finally at the eight ring, she heard Cokie’s voice but barely.
"Yes! What?"
"Cokie? It’s Dicez. I was wandering if…" then Dicez heard this:
"TAG YOU’RE IT!"
"OH, YOU! SOV LET GO YOU’RE SUPPOSE TO ONLY TAG NOT BODY SLAM!"
"WATCH OUT FOR THE WALL!!!! OH GREAT. NOW WE HAVE AN X-RATED HALL ENTRANCE!"
"NOW AP GET UP! I know the view is *interesting* but really, it’s not really royal of you to be lying on the ground next to Sov’s legs. " Cokie’s voice was now stern.
Gazelle’s and Dicez’s eyes were as big as saucers. XMRSA walked into Gazelle’s office with a pile of financial reports. She took one glance at her friends and knew something was up. Then she heard the screams and yells and her ears started ringing. She mumbled "Oh man, I’m missing all the fun."
"Voluptua you are supposed to be in training. Now don’t you dare throw plaster at me, missy!" "You missed, you need to practice your aim girl." Cokie’s voice had a little laughter in it.
"Now, everyone stop it. I think you should be responsible. Now Sov put that bucket of plaster DOWN!"
Gazelle, Dicez and XMRSA then heard Sov low tone voice " Now Cokie, my dear Cokie, my so responsible Cokie… Come play with me…" The three of them let out a heavy sigh and said " Oh , my…"
And the phone line went dead.
Gazelle, XMRSA and Dicez looked at one another then each smiled. Finally Gazelle said " I believe a visit to the construction site in necessary. I have to check this out for the boss, you know. It’s my job…" (Good excuse, I’ll remember it. LOL Note of the author) "Well, I’m coming with you. I will have to evaluate any damage for a financial report. It's my job to evaluate the financial implications of this little… get together" added XMRSA.
"Dicez, are you coming?" asked Gazelle
"Try to stop me." was Dicez’s answer. And all three rushed out of the office.

<Administrative area>
Kelly was becoming now a little worried. She had placed the Emergency unit call five minutes ago and no one had shown up yet. This had to be one of the longest 5 minutes of her life.
Then the phones began to ring all at once. Kelly took a deep breath and picked up the first call.
"Hello, KS Hotline, please hold." Then a second call. "Hello, KS Hotline. Please I’ll be right with you." Then a third "Hello, KS Hotline, do not hang up. Pleaaasee…"
Kelly was losing her mind when she heard from behind. "Need a little help? You’re new around here aren’t you?"

<Chantal’s loft>
"Well you know you should get ready for the meeting. I’ll see what I can do to maximize security around you but I don’t think I can do much about you know who" said Nyxx. Walking toward the door, Nyxx stopped to examine the dagger embedded in the door. Taking it out, she look at it some more. "Where did you get something like that? I would have thought it to be heavier?"
Chantal answered in a low voice "It was a gift, well more like a reward. And it was a long time ago. I should have gotten rid of it but it has some sentimental value of sort." Chantal took the dagger from Nyxx. Putting in the light, she let the sun play on the blade. And Nyxx was not really surprised to see an tangled whip engraved on the dagger’s blade."
"I think you should take it for protection. If you going to war might as well go prepared. So I’ll see you at the meeting around 11.00" And Chantal handled the dagger over to Nyxx.

<Construction site>
"Now Sov, put that bucket of plaster DOWN" said Cokie but her voice was getting weak. "Now Cokie, my Cokie, my so responsible Cokie. Come play with me…" said Sov with a low tone voice. And he took the phone from her and threw it away. Cokie’s heartbeat went wild and she swallowed hard. "Now, really I mean it I want you to…"
"I want you too, my dear" replied Sov. Then he took some plaster and rubbed it on her cheeks very slowly…
The tag game came to an abrupt stop when Nannyboo finally reached the site and her wandering amazons. Nannyboo surveyed the place. A very wicked smile showed on her face. "Well, ladies, mind if I move in and get into the game?" Taking a handful of plaster, she threw it at Sov’s back.
A loud groan erupted. "Nannyboo, darling, I will be with you in few minutes. Now you behave or you will be screaming until your voice is no more…"

In the administrative area
"Need a little help? You’re new around here, aren’t you?"
Kelly turned and felt a rush of adrenaline and a rosy color on her cheeks. She almost went THUD and swooned. Only her very good self control skill saved her. She counted to three in her head. "Three." (Note of the author: I could not help myself I love that line from the Apple ep.) And smiled at the most beautiful blue eyes she knew. Well next to Sov’s that is.
"Well, yes. I could use some help. Can you answer phones?" She hoped she did not babble to much. But being so close to the demi-god was quite an exhilarating experience.
" I think I can do that. After all, I’ve handled hydras, Minotaur and sea monsters. What’s a few phone calls" Herk sat at the desk near Kelly and picked up the first line. "Hello, can I help you? Well yes, I guess my voice is familiar to you. What is the problem? Now I’m not so sure I can do that. Really, no thank you. You can’t leave me your phone number… Please do not go any further… I really do not want to know about whip cream …" Herk was becoming a bit worried. This was difficult.
Kelly put her hand on the phone and whispered in Herk’s ear " I’ll get this one. You can answer line two. It’s a little girl who wants to know about the Fit for Kids program. I’ll handle the not so subtle lady…"
Herk turned his head, smiled at Kelly, whispered "Thank you", moved in closer then kissed her. He put the phone into her hand and took the second one.
"His eyes are so blue…" Kelly’s mind was racing. "Had she dreamt the last few minutes" she asked herself. She watched Herk talk to the little girl. He was so very good with her. So Kelly took her phone and started to calm down a very puzzled Amazon. " No, it was a recording.. It was not Herk answering the phone…"
Just then Kendaa and Deeva walked in. The were covered with plaster from head to toe. But they had a very wide grin on their face. "You call for help. Here we are?" Kendaa passed Kelly and stopped near Herk. " Hello you." she whispered "Don’t go too far, we have some catching up to do." Herk smiled at her and nodded.
Deeva was already on the phone and handling a confused Joxerite. "No, listen, I will give you the number to call, one minute… Anyone seen the hotline numbers sheet?"
"The last time I saw it, it was tacked on the back of the phone receiver." Heads turned and a loud cry of joy and heard. "Princess, you’re back. This is so cool. Let me finish this call and I want to know all about your trip." Herk was quite happy to see one of his favorite amazons back. Finally.
The emergency unit had taken over promptly. They were professionals or so they said. <g> Kendaa was using baby wipes to clean the plaster off her face. She caught Herk staring and gave him her most radiant smile plus blew him a kiss. Herk laughed and diverted his attention toward Princess. "Now, how are you? How was your trip? Did you get all the information you wanted? And how was the training? Okay? I hope Cassius and Myrra took good care of you? Sword and bow training are quite demanding."
Princess looked a bit confused. She was not used to see Herk babbling so much. "Now if you need some more training, I’m sure I can find some time for you…" Herk was becoming a tad red in the face as he was looking, oh more like staring behind Princess. Turning Princess could not refrain a chuckle.
Deeva had taken off her sweat shirt. She then proceeded to get out of her sweat pants that had hardened from the plaster. All the while calming down a HWS case with the no hand phone. "Now I understand, you’re in distress. I suggest you pop in some of your tapes from season one in the VCR, with some cold iced grapes…" Deeva was now standing near her desk in her sport bra and pink silk boxers.
Seeing Herk becoming increasingly red and embarrassed (as if it was something he had not seen before, this is KSHQ, LOL), Princess let out a loud whistle. "Hey Deeva, nice boxers!" Deeva turned and finally noticed Herk (right and I have a swamp to sell to you LOL). She was a bit surprise for a nano second then seeing the opportunity for some fun she walked to Princess and Herk.

Leaving the loft with a pile of files in her hands, Chantal was already running behind her schedule. "Oh, man, I’m gonna be late. Again. Gee, how original of me." <g>
Going down the steps two by two, she almost ran MMMuffin into the wall. "MMMuffin, I’ll see you at the meeting later, right?" Chantal asked without really looking at her friend, being in a hurry. "Ah, sure. I need a shower first but I’ll be there and I’ll bring a rack of strait jackets. I think we’ll need them." replied MMMuffin.
Chantal finally took a good look at MMMuffin. She was all wet, dripping all over and had multiple smudges of plaster all over her clothes. Or what was left of her clothes. "What happened? No, I’m late and I really, really really don’t want to know right away." Walking away, Chantal stopped two seconds later. Turning she said "I’m gonna say one word. Nod if I’m right, okay?" MMMuffin smiled. "Sov" said Chantal. MMMuffin smiled became wider and took an evil twist. She then ran up the stairs.
Chantal mumbled to herself " When will this day end…"
