IT'S KALLISTA'S BIRTHDAY BASH!
by Freya
Sov watched SHerk skip toward him and growled. "How can that half-wit always
be so happy?" he wondered. He stood his ground, and Sherk, not watching where
he was going, plowed right into him.
"Sov...I'm....sor....wow...that was a neat trick." SHerk stammered.
"Where'd you come from?" Sherk looked left, than right, then behind a
tree. "Wanna play hide and seek again?" he grinned as he got ready to
hide.
"No, you moron" Sov snapped, furious that Sherk wasn't the least bit intimidated
by him. In his best deep menacing voice, he asked "Where do you think you are
going?" and he poked Sherk in the chest.
SHerk looked frightened and mumbled "Oh nowhere really..."
Sov took a step closer to Sherk who stepped backward shuffling his feet.
"Really?" Sov asked again.
"I'm going to the SorboMart to buy something." Sherk dug his hands in his
pockets and took out a handful of dinars.
"And that will be?" Sov asked as he reached for the dinars....only to have his
hand slapped away. Furiously, he spun around and found himself nose to nose with
Herk.
"Playing the big bad bully Sov, stealing Sherk's lunch money?" Herk smiled as he
put his arm around SHerk.
Sov just glared at Herk as Sherk excitedly said "It's not my lunch money Herk.
No...I saved this money myself. You see..."
Sherk glanced left. Herk and Sov looked left. Sherk glanced right. Herk
and Sov looked right. Sherk lowered his voice to a whisper and said "It's
Kallista's birthday and I'm going to buy her a present!" He shoved his money
back into his pocket as Herk asked "What are you getting her for her special
day?"
Sherk eyes gleamed and he laughed saying "Mr. Bubbles!"
"Mr. Bubbles???" Sov snarled. "Who in hades is Mr.
Bubbles??....another one of your silly alphas Herk??"
Herk stood there, forehead furrowed. "Mr. Bubbles??" He thought to
himself as he tried to imagine what this alpha does to deserve the name of Mr. Bubbles.
He decided that he really didn't want to know.
"Not who sil...Sov" Sherk quickly recovered. "Mr. Bubbles is just
that... bubbles. You know how Kallista loves bubble baths. I'm gonna buy the
biggest bottle SorboMart has and then..." Sherk got a far away look in his eyes.
"That's okay buddy, we get the idea" Herk laughed as an idea of his own popped
into his head. "Go on with you now" he said as he gently nudged Sherk in
the direction of the SorboMart.
Sov and Herk watched SHerk as he skipped out of site, and then with a snarl from Sov, and
a sigh from Herk, they went their opposite ways.
*****
"Bubble bath?" Sov thought to himself. "The lovely delectable
Kallista in a tub full of bubbles... and moi." Growing more excited (ya can
tell ya know) he hurried to his castle and gave detailed instructions to his servants.
Kal put up a good fight when Sov's minions abducted her later that day. Eyes
flashing and bosom heaving she stormed into the room where she was told Sov waited for
her. "Sov" she screamed, "Just what the heck do you think you are
doing?"
Her eyes took in the room. "Hmmmm" she thought, "I never was in this
room before". It had walls of gleaming black onyx and a huge black marble hot
tub rose out of a floor that was covered in dark furs. Soft flickering light was
supplied by a multitude of candles that were placed all around the room and a heavy,
sensual musky aroma filled the air. Kal walked closer to the hot tub and noticed
that it was full of big fat bluish bubbles. She stared mesmerized as the
bubbles in the center of the tub parted, and Sov rose out of the foam. Wet hair
dripped down his face, bare chest was exposed more and more. Kal's mouth went dry
and her knees weak and she desperately tried to remember what she was doing in Sov's bath
chamber and vaguely
remembered that she was mad at him. Sov rose to his knees in the tub, the water
dropped dangerously low and Kal's eyes were drawn to the water's surface. Sov
laughed, a deep throaty laugh, and he opened his arms out wide. He helped her into
his tub and slowly peeled her wet clothes from her body. Nuzzling her neck, he told
her how they were bathing in the finest musk oil imported from the Orient and how it was
supposed to be an aphrodisiac. Kal giggled softly to herself and as she turned and
straddled Sov, she whispered "we don't need any aphrodisiacs."
******
Herk spent his afternoon gathering different wild flowers and herbs and simmering some of
them in a large pot over an open fire. He hid the mixture behind some rocks at a
very private natural hot spring that he recently found. Then he set off to find
Kallista.
Kallista was happily limping down the path from Sov's castle, a smile plastered to her
face. She was running her fingers thru her still damp hair, trying to get some of
the knots out when she heard a cry for help. "Herk?" she called.
"Is that you?" Her heartbeat quickened and she starting jogging down the
path, calling, then listening. Faintly, she heard "Kal...Kal."
"Oh no... Herk is in trouble!" she thought as she started running as fast as she
could thru the woods listening intently for any sound. She leapt over fallen logs
and sprinted around boulders (WonderWoman!) and finally burst into a small opening.
"Herk" she yelled and her voice caught in her throat. Herk lay in a pool
of water on which floated numerous fragrant petals. He smiled up at her as he took
his flower and herb mixture and poured it into a small waterfall that fed the pool.
Kal splashed into the water just as tons of bubbles erupted. "Herk!" she
cried as fell to her knees by his side. "I thought you were hurt!"
She punched him on his shoulder and he laughed as he caught her hand and raised it to his
lips.
"I'm sorry for the ruse Kal" he whispered, "I wanted to surprise you."
He sat her back and slowly peeled her wet clothes from her body and placed them on a flat
rock to dry in the sun. Then he took some of his special mixture (minds out of the
gutter please) and shampooed her hair. She leaned back against him and sighed as his
fingers massaged and kneaded all her body til she couldn't tell where her body ended and
his began.
*************
Kal finally made it back to her hut, pulling at her now shrunk clothes. "All I
want to do is get these wedgie causing clothes off
and stay dry" she thought as she pulled the door open... and gasped. For her
hut was full of bubbles. Bubbles covered everything! Kal heard singing from
her bath chamber and she slipped and slid her way over to the door. She found SHerk
sitting in the middle of her jacuzzi playing with his toy boat. Ten empty BIG
bottles of Mr. Bubbles lay strewn around the room and Kal noticed some full bottles on the
rim of the tub. "SHERK!" she yelled. "What are you
doing??"
"Kal! There you are!" Sherk exclaimed as he stepped out of the tub and
wrapped his arms around her. "Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday!" he
sang. "Do you like your present?" he asked as he spun the two of them
around and around. Picking her up, he placed her in the tub and poured some more
bubble juice into the water. Kal sighed and closed her eyes.......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY APHRAEL!
by Dessy
Aphrael slowly came to consciousness. As she slowly opened her sleepy eyes, they began
to focus in on the dressing table. There was something there that was unusual. But what
was it? She leaned on her elbows and focused a bit better.
There they were! On her dressing table was the most beautiful bouquet of white roses! They
were held elegantly by a crystal vase, which was in turn, sitting on delicate lace. She
counted the lovely blooms. There must be three dozen of them!
"Oh myyyyyy!" she whispered. "They're absolutely fabulous! But when did
they arrive?" She knew they weren't there when she went to bed....alone. Hercules was
out of the Province, working with Jason. And the Sov had been in a snit about something in
the Alternate Universe. "Who did this?" she said silently.
As the sat up, swung her perfect legs over the side of the bed and slipped her dressing
robe on, she could see the morning sun streaming in through her window. The sky was a
brilliant blue and the air smelled so fresh and sweet. It was going to be a perfect day.
She slipped on her down slippers and padded over to the dressing table, running her
fingers through her baby soft hair. She tossed it a few times and smiled as the strands
fell into their perfect position. This could be a good day after all.
Aphrael bent down and smelled the roses, which exuded a delicate fragrance. She even
noticed that drops of dew were still on the petals. They hadn't been here long. But how
did they get in here without waking her up. She was a light sleeper after all....came from
years of sentry duty.
Someone had remembered her birthday and her favorite flowers. But Aphrael was surprised
because of the attack upon one of the Amazon's favorite villages. No one was in the mood
for celebrating. She just figured her day would slip by unnoticed...and she was just fine
with that...well, mostly.
She shook off the feeling of weirdness at not knowing any answers to her questions and
decided to go for a dip in the lake. She padded out the door with her gossamer robe
covering her and wandered down the lake.
Her coverings soon fell at her feet as Aprhael immersed her curvaceous body into the
soothing waters. She soon was lost in the gentle massage of the waves and was humming a
quiet song to herself as she floated around.
The waves were actually just ripples and felt so good on her body. She felt so relaxed and
at peace. The memories of the days before were forgotten temporarily.
Soon she did the crawl over to the waterfall and climbed up on the flat rocks and began
washing her body with the sponge and soap kept in an indentation in the rocks. She took
her time soaping up and cleansing herself. It felt wonderful!
Finally, she stood under the gentle waters of the little waterfall and let the waters
stream over her body, washing the soap off.
Afterwards she swam back to her spot on the shore and waded out, almost in a dream state.
As she dried off with her towel, she noticed something sitting on the boulder nearby.
She walked over to the boulder to find a box of heart-shaped white chocolate truffles
waiting for her with a note... "Enjoy!" As her teeth sank into one of the
confectionery delights, she exclaimed: "Raspberry! Mmmmm!" Aprhrael finished her
fourth treat, then gathered up the box and walked over to the spot where her clothes were.
But they were gone!
She stood there wrapped in a towel, feeling just a bit miffed. "Alright, you
guys!" she shouted. "The joke's over...not funny! Give me my clothes back!"
But all she heard was a loud silence.
Resolutely, Aphrael tightened the towel around her body, grabbed her chocolates and made
her way back to her hut. She stepped through the threshold and t her surprise, found the
air filled with her favorite incense! She could smell sandalwood and it was wonderful!
She closed the door and moved to the center of the room. Her eyes fell upon her bed. Laid
out upon it was a gorgeous purple dress! It was just the shade she loved! And all the
needed accessories were sitting next to it, including a pair of matching shoes on the
floor.
"Someone loves me!" she squealed, quickly crossing the space to the bed and
picking up the dress in her arms. She hugged it tightly and spun around in a circle.
"Whoever you are, thank you!" she gasped. "You've saved my special
day!"
The towel fell to the floor, as she slipped into her silky undergarments and then into the
soft, flowing dress. As she fastened the necklace around her dainty neck, she looked into
the mirror and sighed. Aphrael quickly wiped a tear from her eye and proceeded to fix her
face.
When she was done, she stood and inspected herself in the mirror and pronounced herself,
"Practically Perfect!" Aphrael giggled as she said that...it's not her
personality at all to say that...but ohhh she looked good!
She was inspecting herself once more, when she smelled something delicious. She turned
around slowly to see a table set before her, candles and all! There was fresh linen over
the table, gold platters, plates, bowls, and utensils. Crystal goblets stood close by the
plates. Another vase of white roses adorned the table further.
She walked cautiously to the table, looking around and then decided to check what was
under the dome lids of the platters. Under one dome was Chicken Parmesan and under another
was spaghetti with red meat sauce. Under the third dome she found Fettuccini Alfredo. In
the large bowl was a lovely green salad with all her favorite stuff in it. How perfect!
But didn't she
need someone to share it with?
She looked outside the door. There was no one. She looked in her closet. There was no one.
How could she celebrate by herself? But it didn't look as if she had a choice.
Aphrael sighed, closed the door and returned to the table. She sat down and took a goblet
into her hand. As she sipped the drink, it tasted like heaven. She didn't know what it
was, but it was divine!
Aprhael looked around and sighed a deep sigh. It would be a perfect setting, if she
weren't alone. "I wish I had someone to share my special night with me," she
said almost in a whisper.
"Your wish is my command, my dove!" said this wonderfully male voice. Aphrael
whirled around in her chair to find Ares standing there in black and gold. He looked good
enough to eat and smelled even better.
"Ares!" she gasped. "Did you do all this?" Ares grinned lustily.
"Who else, my Amazon? Do you really think my half-brother could come up with a classy
feast like this one? I think not!" He placed his hands on her shoulders, leaned down
and ran his wet lips across her shoulders and up her neck, one side, then the other.
Aphrael quivered with passion as he nibbled on her ear and his hands ran the full length
of her arms and back. Then he straightened and moved to his chair and sat down.
"Now, my perfect Amazon, we will dine!" he smiled that smile that always made
Aphrael both hot and nervous. "Then, afterwards," he drawled, "we will
share in each other's delights for dessert!"
Aphrael's hand was shaking slightly as she raised the goblet to her red lips. But her
smile answered Ares just the way he wanted and demanded. A single drop of nectar dribbled
down her chest and between her full breasts. Ares, was quick to catch it with his tongue.
Aphrael moaned slightly, having gotten a foretaste of what was to come soon. Ares settle
back in his chair, smiled and said: "Tonight, my dove, you will soar higher than you
ever have before! And I will take you there!"
