KS HQ INTERLUDE #1
DO YOU LIKE CHINESE FOOD ?

Now everyone this thing I wrote as been hitching at me all day and ofcourse I was way to busy to type it and send it. I haven't even read mymail yet. I had lots of fun writing it during my lunch hour.

Well it was bound to happen. This is a mix of Hilara, Kelly, Deeva and my obsessions with a certain Miss HoHo, a goddess chicken and a certain bad boy of war. And a little Herk on the side.

Siting by the zen garden, Hilara and Kelly were discussing their mutual dislike of a certain dancer named Cupcake. « Okay. How about this : Cupcake meets the sand sharks » said Hilara. « Oh goodie, That would work. I’ll go get the ropes. » replied Kelly.
« Hum, i’d be careful if i were you. That would make a certain King of Thieves very annoyed with you cousin. Besides, i have something evenbetter to feed our pet sand shark. » said Chantal coming up behind them.
Kelly and Hilara watched Chantal take a black leather bag from behind her back. « Chicken, anyone ? » she said with a smile.
« Oh, don’t tell me that... » Kelly started and Hilara finished with her « DISCORD ! ! » Chantal had a very wicked smile on her face. Taking the blind folded black goddess chicken from the bag, she said « Now, really stop picking on me, dear, I’ll removed your blindfold at the count of two... TWO. »
Chantal threw Discord into the zen garden. Kelly went « Yippee ! ! ! I’ll call Sharkie. Come here pretty, pretty shark. Come to Kelly. » And Kelly jumped into the zen garden with glee. « Come and get it. Tasty chicken ! »
Hilara went « Huh, girls, i really, really don’t want to get involve in this, you know. I think i’ll get you some protection. Now, i’ll get Herk here to calm you too. » And Hilara left in a hurry. Chantal looked at Kelly. « Come on cousin, let's watch the chicken run.» For awhile Chantal and Kelly sat cross-legged in deep meditation as Discord was doing her best to avoid Sharkie sharp teeth. « Well, that was fun. I had not done something like that in a very very long time. Gotta go do some paperwork. Don’t you have phone duty, cousin ? » asked Chantal.
Kelly suddenly snapped out of her trance. Looked at her watch and answered « Oh yes, in 5 minutes. Let’s go. » Both Kelly and Chantal looked out into the zen garden and said « Have fun Discord, don’t do anything we would not. » Then left giggling.
A little later...
Deeva was coming back from her walk in the garden when she ran into his almighty Lord of War looking pretty mad. He stopped her dead in her tracks. « Have you seen Discord, Deeva ? I can’t seem to find her anywhere ? »
Deeva became a little nervous. « Well, the last time i saw her, she was well, occupied in the zen garden... » « The zen garden... as in Sharkie's zen garden ? » yelled a stunned Ares. Deeva only nodded, terrified of the look of rage, anger and well the smoke coming out of Mr Bad attitude nose. « Well, who would be foolish enough to do a thing like that... Did you see anyone else around ? » asked Ares in an icy tone. « Euh, only Kelly and Chantal, but i’m sure they had nothing to do with it. I mean, they like you, right ? They would not do anything to upset you... But then again... » Deeva did not finish her sentence as Ares stomped down the hallway in a very very angry mood.
Deeva thought fast. Grabbed her cell phone and buzzed Kelly’s desk. «Kelly ? Deeva. Get out as soon as you can or come up with a very good story why Discord is in the zen garden with Sharkie because your almighty Lord is coming your way. And he’s pretty steamed. I’d help, of course, but you know, things to do.. And did you know sharks are fond of chicken ? » Deeva ended the call out with a laugh.
Kelly hanged up her phone and said to herself « Thanks for the warning, Deeva. » She ran down to Chantal’s office. She peeked in and saw her typing away on the keyboard.. «Chantal ! Code red ! He found out about the chicken and Deeva says he’s pretty mad. » Chantal rolled her eyes. « Oh, good. Bring him on. » Kelly giggled. Chantal added « Don’t worry, cousin. I’ll take the blame for this. » «You’re sure you want to take him on all by yourself. I’ll help of course... but he’s still a tad upset i spilled the beans about the Ares bear and the bunny slippers... » Kelly said smiling.
« Well some protection would be nice. Go find Hilara and come back with Herk and Sov. I’ll delay our almighty Lord... » Kelly turned around and out she went. Running smack into Ares’ chest.
« Well, well. What have we got here ? Hello my dear, going somewhere ?» said Ares holding Kelly’s shoulders very very tight. « Euh, actually, yes. I have an emergency errand to do. » Kelly gave him a very innocent smile and tried to wiggle her way out of Ares’ grip. No luck. It only got her closer to him (Like you would mind, cousin LOL)
Ares turned her around and kicked open Chantal’s office door. « Well, hello to you too, my Lord. Lost something ? A chicken perhaps ? » asked Chantal not looking away from her computer’s screen. « Oh, come on, i’ve done much much worst to Strife and you’ve always found it funny. Sorry Kelly, i’m miss the worm too. » Chantal added hearing Kelly’s little sigh. « But you have to admit, Sharkie was a cute idea ?»
« Cold. Not cute And.. funny i concede you that. » replied Ares letting go of Kelly. « Well, that’s an improvement. A little mischief. It has been a while my dear. So, feeling the urge to be bad, are we ? » Ares had slipped behind Chantal’s desk and was standing next to her. Finally turning away from the screen, Chantal gave Kelly a wick. «Oh, i don’t know. Discord is such a pain. And Kelly and I needed a little inspiration for our zen meditation. » answered Chantal toying with her right earring. A silver dagger. Ares just smiled. «Nice earring. Good to see you did not throw it away. » He seemed very pleased and smug all of sudden. Kelly stood there waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Ignoring Ares last remark, Chantal continued «And besides, i’m sure Discord and Sharkie are the best of friend now. Even though, Discord is a bit below Sharkie’s usual standards.»
« You are so cold my dear, I like your new attitude... it’s about time... » Ares started to say. That’s when Hilara with Herk in tow came into the office. Herk taking in the situation was a bit surprised. «Hilara, you said there was trouble. Everything seems all right. It is, right ? » Herk asked.
Ares extending his hand to Chantal right ear said. « Oh everything is all right, dear brother. I’ve just took the lead in our little personal tug of wag. » Turning to Chantal he said « You’ve earned another month of freedom, my dear. »
Kelly’s face lit up and she thought to herself « Man, cousin you are good. » That’s when the other shoe dropped. «Well, thank you, my lord. How so very nice of you. » Chantal answered then she pulled away from him. With her eyes locked with his she slowly took off her earring and threw it on her desk. Smiling at Herk, she said «It’s about lunch time. Oh, i feel like Chinese. Chicken Chow mien anyone ? »
Herk, Hilara and Kelly busted out laughing. Herk just said « Well *brother*, i believe you just lost ground. And i’ve gain some. Chinese it is ! » And they all left, leaving Ares fuming. « I help him ! ! ! » Ares shouted and he disappeared but not before he took the silver dagger earring from the desk.
