To Help and To Heal
Rent a Herk story

Julie was feeling terrible. She had been struck by the sorbo-list cold-flu
and was feeling out of sorts. Yet she had all this house work to do."By the gods I
wish felt like going to Sorbo-Mart and posting a Rent-A HerK sign but I just don't have
the energy. "You called my dear?", GHerK questioned
as he appeared beside her. "GHerK, how did you know to come? Julie asked. " I
can always sense when one of the amazons is in need of me." "What's that big
sack on your back? she asked. "You kind of look like Santa Claus." G. HerK
laughed heartily and kissed her gently on the forhead. He led Julie into the living room
and sat her down in a chair. "You'll see he promised. First he pulled out some HerK
satin sheets and a big fluffy pillow and made up a bed for her on the couch. He lifted her
lovingly and placed her under a warm grape covered comforter. He also pulled out a box of
tissues and a bottle of cold relief pills shaped like characters from Hercules. And he
wasn't done yet. Next came a Huggable HerK doll and a Hercules video. "It's Stranger
In A Strange Land." It has both Sov and the alternative Joxer so I knew you'd like
it. He put it on for her. Now you just lay still and
let me do all the work. Julie nodded.
GHerK vacumed but amazingly there was no annoying sound. She was having more fun watching
him than the video. Then he left for a very brief period of time and returned with the
laundry already clean and folded. It didn't take him much longer to put it all a way. All
the housework was done in record time. Julie had drifted off thinking how very nice it was
to have a god around the house. It was about to get even better though. GHerK awoke her
with a kiss. A delightful aroma filled the air.
"I have prepared you a light meal, that will help you regain your strength" he
told her. He insisted on feeding her himself. When the meal was over, he disappeared with
the dishes. Upon his return GHerK picked her up, comforter, Huggable HerK doll and all and
took her into the bedroom. "Thanks GHerK. It was so nice of you to come."
"You talk as, if I'm leaving." "Your not?"
"No I intend to stay and hold you through the night my darling, Julie."
"But I don't want you to catch my cold." We gods don't get colds sweet one.
"Well in that case can I have a ....." "You can have as many as you
want" he said reading her mind. And with that he sealed her mouth with a kiss.
